SpRiNg BrEaK...a little late

So I'm finally getting around to uploading and posting pics from Spring Break. We had a really great time and it went by so fast. We started off by going to St. Johns for a few days. I took my camera, but of course never got it out to snap any pictures. The boys enjoyed playing with Gage, Case, and Ellie. They love their freedom of getting to roam between Grandma's and their cousins house. They think they are so big! Trey got to milk Peaches, the family milk cow. He didn't get anything, but thought it was fun anyway. Uncle Spencer was brave and took Trey, Kyson, Gage, and Case to the feed cows. They were gone quite awhile and by the time they got back Uncle Spencer was pretty worn out! I think he got his fill on nephews and probably won't feel too bad if the next outing doesn't come for several more years! We celebrated Gage's birthday with him on Sunday the 15th and got to be at his birthday party, of course the boys loved that! We always have a fun time at Grandpa and Grandma Heap's house!

On Tuesday we went to the zoo (along with the rest of the world). It was so packed! I knew we should have gone to Disneyland...it would have been empty because I'm sure everyone was at the Phoenix Zoo instead. They boys had a blast. We saw a lot of the animals, but they had the most fun at the tree house and playing in the water. Thanks, Grandpa and Grandma Perry for taking us all!

On Thursday we attempted to go swimming, but ended up at pool that was not heated and so we just waded around and visited with friends. We packed a lunch and had a good time. The boys thought they were in heaven because I bought them a bag of Doritos to go with their lunch. I hardly ever buy chips, but apparently I need to start. They sat and ate and ate and ate...Yum, so healthy! After our attempt at swimming we headed out to Saguaro Lake for an overnight camping trip. We took John's canoe and ventured out on the lake a little bit. Trey, Kyson, and I were pretty nervous to get out there, but Ridge was all over it. He absolutely loved the canoe and had no fear of tipping over or sinking! After a few voyages out we all got a little more confident and I almost enjoyed it. I would do it again, but it's for sure not going to become a passion of mine anytime soon.

We spent the rest of the week just hanging out. It was a fun and yet relaxing week. Trey loved having the time off school and is now looking forward to "the longest break ever" (aka: summertime).
