What a fun day we had getting our Christmas tree! We went the day after the real Thanksgiving (which we got to spend in St. Johns since we had the fake Thanksgiving in Globe). It had just snowed the night prior and there was about four inches of powdery, fresh, white snow on the ground. Perfect for snowball fights and building snowmen. The boys had a blast playing in the snow, but ended up pretty wet and cold by the time we were all finished. I forgot my camera and my mom had hers, but her battery went dead right after taking this picture. I'm bummed I didn't get pics of the boys all bundled having a snowball fight.
Our Christmas tree this year is HUGE! It is about 10 feet tall and takes up almost half of my living room. We had a fun time getting it all situated and decorated. John is quite proud of it and was happy that we didn't have to trim it down too much.
(This picture doesn't do justice in showing how big the tree is. I really feel like it's taking up the whole room!)
Trey used the few pieces that we did have to trim off to decorate the outside of our house. He asked if he could use them and then proudly showed us his decorating job once he was finished. If you just saw them sitting there you would think they were pieces that we just threw aside, but don't be fooled, Trey carefully and strategically placed each piece. Here are a few pics of his work.
(He put these up on the side of our house and by the front door)

I miss snow...only for snowmen. Hey if you go to make your book DO NOT UPLOAD the new version. They are not longer slurping blogger right now. They are having issue and are not sure if they can or will fix it!! Just a heads up.
